Sally M. Johnson Memorial and Scholarship Fund

Who was Sally M. Johnson ?

Mrs. Johnson was a former volunteer with Northside Hospital back when it was formerly known as R.T. Jones Memorial Hospital. In 1996, Mrs. Johnson bequeathed a gift of $5,000. to the hospital. This money was to be put towards the scholarship fund that the auxiliary department granted to upcoming college students pursuing a career in the allied medical field. With the passing of Mrs. Johnson, the scholarship was named after her. Prior to her death she was known for her love and passion for the auxiliary department. She especially loved the scholarship fund and would always donate money towards it.
